These terms cover use of this website and outline how our engagements work. Individual projects are governed by a written agreement we sign together, which takes precedence over anything here.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Use of this website
The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. You're welcome to browse, link to, and quote it with attribution. Don't scrape it wholesale, misrepresent it as your own, or use it to impersonate us.
You also agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, other users' accounts, or our systems; probe or overload the service (rate limits are enforced); introduce malware; or use automated means to harvest data from the site.
3. Accounts
To create an account you must provide a valid email address and verify it. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@smartgenhub.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, provide false information, or abuse the service — and you may delete your account at any time.
4. Project engagements
All client work is defined by a separate written agreement covering scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and intellectual property. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer; descriptions of services and typical timelines are indicative, not promises.
5. Intellectual property
Unless a project agreement says otherwise: on final payment, project-specific code, trained model weights, and documentation belong to the client. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, templates, and general know-how, which we may reuse — never your data or anything derived from it.
6. No guarantees of model performance
Machine learning systems are probabilistic. We measure and report performance honestly, but we cannot and do not guarantee any particular accuracy level before working with your actual data. Any figures quoted on this site refer to our internal test sets, not to results you should expect on yours.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. See also our Disclaimer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smartgenhub is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability within a project engagement is defined in that project's agreement.
9. Payments and refunds
Fees, invoicing, and refunds for project engagements are governed by the individual project agreement and our Refund Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, our place of business being Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, unless a project agreement states otherwise. We'll always try to resolve disagreements by talking first.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes affecting active clients or account holders will be communicated directly.
